Peppermint tea is another type of this wonder brew. Consumption of this tea can actually control and improve your eating habits. Peppermint leaves are also used to make a refreshing and light tea. To prepare this tea, take one tablespoon of dried and fresh peppermint leaves and add boiling water to them. Leave it to steep for five to seven minutes and then enjoy hot or chilled whatever way you like. You can also add honey to it if you like it sweet.

Oolong tea is a type of tea that is even more effective than green tea when it comes to fighting against obesity. It is a semi fermented variant of tea. This tea helps in reducing unhealthy cholesterol and promotes the burning of fatty cells. Two cups of this tea is recommended every day to lose weight. Oolong tea should be steeped from 1 minute to 5 minutes.

While it is true that tea has a lot of benefits, some variants of tea also contain caffeine which is not very healthy for our body.
