Plum Crumble
Ingredients

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
8 to 10 ripe plums, pitted and quartered

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Prepare a baking dish by cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

Add 3 tablespoons of the butter. Blend with a pastry cutter or make use of 2 forks. Combine until it resembles a crumble.

Add the nuts.

Place the plums in the prepared baking dish and top with the crumble.

Dot with the remaining butter. Bake about 1 hour or until golden.
