Mini Baked Cider Doughnuts

Mini Baked Cider Doughnuts

Makes 24 mini doughnuts or 12 regular size doughnuts.

Ingredients:

For doughnuts
2 cups biscuit mix (ex:Bisquick or Jiffy)
1 egg
1/4  cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 cup apple cider
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour

topping:
1/4-1/2 cup cinnamon sugar
2-3 TBSP melted butter

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray doughnut pan with non-stick cooking spray.

In a mixing bowl, combine egg, sugar,apple cider, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla.

Add in biscuit mix and flour slowly.  Combine well.  Batter will be thick.

Spoon into doughnut pan and bake for 5-7 minutes or light brown.
