Mango Sorbet Recipe

Mango Sorbet

Ingredients

2 large, ripe mangoes, peeled and cut into chunks
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
4 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice, plus extra
pinch of salt

 

Directions

Put the mangoes in a blender.  Squeeze the mango pit over the blender, getting as much of the pulp and the juice from the pit as possible.

Add sugar, water, lime juice and salt. Puree the mixture until smooth.

Chill the mixture thoroughly, then freeze in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
