Eggnog Cut-Out Cookies

 

Fixings:

4 cups flour

1 teaspoon  nutmeg

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted spread butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

5 tbsp sugar

4  eggs

1 cup  eggnog

Eggnog Glaze:

3 containers powdered sugar

3 Tablespoons vanilla

4 Tablespoons eggnog

Method:

MAKE THE COOKIE DOUGH:

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, nutmeg, and salt together.

Using an electric or stand blender fitted, beat spread, granulated sugar, and sugar on medium-fast until soft, around 3 minutes. Add egg and beat until consolidated.

Heat low, include flour mixture, and blend until consolidated. Add eggnog and blend until consolidated.  Divide batter into 6 pieces, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for no less than 1hr.

MAKE, BAKE, & DECORATE:

Preheat stove to 200  degrees. Line two preparing sheets with silicone heating mats.  In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and eggnog until smooth. Roll out mixture to around 1/2 inch thick. Then,Using a cutter, cut mixture into shapes.

Place treat shapes onto arranged heating skillet. Prepare for about 15 minutes. Let it cool on preparing sheet for 5 minutes. Let it cool totally before icing. Once treats are cooled, plunge treats into coating and sprinkle around. Place on heating sheet to set for no less than 30 on minutes serving.
