2 cups organic raw almonds
a pack vanilla bean
4 medjool dates
1 tsp salt
1 liter of filtered water
nut milk bag
Place almonds and vanilla bean in a medium bowl, soak with filtered water for maximum of 12 hours. do the same to dates using a separate bowl.
Drain the almonds. Rinse thoroughly. Keep the date water to add to the almond milk, if desired.
Blend the ingredients together keeping the water from the dates until blended. and put in a bag.
Place nut milk bag in a quart-size measuring cup.Keep it sealed.
Almond milk will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Give it a brief shake before using, because there aren’t any additives to keep it emulsified.
