Veggie Burgers Recipe
1/2 cup couscous
2large eggs
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
18 oz. can lentils
2medium carrots
1 red onion
2 tablespoon lime
salt and black pepper
Directions
- Cover couscous in a bowl for 5 minutes.
- Combine the egg, seeds, and lentils till it forms a paste and put in a bowl. Add carrots, onion, lime, couscous, the remaining lentils, salt & pepper to taste. Shape the mixture into thick patties. Chill, uncovered until solid, 30 min.
- Grill the patties, 5 minutes on every side. Serve on buns with selected toppings and garnish.
