Pope’s Valentine Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup of butter, melted
4 cups  of all-purpose flour
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
3 tbsp evaporated milk
2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

First thing to do is preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cream butter with an electric mixer until light, add in the remaining ingredients to form the dough.

Knead the dough until velvety in texture. Divide the dough into two parts.

Roll one part of the dough to 1/4 inch thickness using as little flour as possible. Repeat with the other half of the dough.

Shape and cut out the dough. Arrange cookies on a lightly greased pan.

Bake for about 12 minutes. Cookies will not turn brown and is almost white when done.
