Cafe Delicioso
Ingredients:
2 cups water
⅛ cup brown sugar
2 to 3 cloves
1 cinnamon stick, cut in half
3 teaspoons instant espresso powder
½ ounce dark chocolate (I used Madecasse Brand Espresso Bean Chocolate)
½ teaspoon vanilla bean paste
Directions:
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil over medium heat.
Stir in brown sugar, cloves and cinnamon stick.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove the cinnamon sticks and the cloves.
Mix in the chocolate and melt about 2 minutes.
Pour the espresso and the vanilla and stir about 3 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream if desired.
