Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 3 pounds tilapia fillets
Directions:
- Preheat your oven’s broiler and grease a broiling pan.
- In a separate bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice and season it with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
- In a single layer, arrange the fillets in the pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes.
- Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side.
- Broil for another 2 minutes or until the topping is browned. Be careful not to overcook the fish.
