Cream Scones Recipe
Fixings

5 cups all purpose flour

6 tbsp powdered sugar

2 tbsp baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

6 tbsp butter spread

4 large eggs

Strawberry jam,

whipped cream,
How to Prepare:

Preheat oven 450 degrees.  Line a heating sheet and mix flour, powdered sugar, baking powder and a pinch of seasalt in a mixing bowl.

With a fork, whisk together the cream and eggs. Make a well in the middle of flour mixture, and spill in cream mixture. Mix gently with fork just until the mixture meets up.

Turn out batter onto a softly floured work surface. Make a batter and brush finish with cream, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in oven for 16 to 20 minutes. Exchange scones to wire racks, and let cool. Serve warm or at room temperature, Top with strawberry jam andcream.
