Fennel-Roasted Wild Alaskan Halibut Recipe
Ingredients
5 pounds fennel
5 tablespoons olive oil
4 medium onion
4 garlic
salt and crisply ground pepper
4 pounds wild Alaskan halibut
Instructions
Prepare the broiler by preheating it in to a 450°f. slice the stalks and fronds from the fennel and set it aside. slice the knobs in to quarters and cut the inside centers. Slice it into a dainty strips and set it aside.
Put the fish in a gently oiled heating bucket, in a layer. Dust it with salt and pepper. distribute with the fennel stalks, then totally seal the pan with an aluminum foil.
In a large, nonstick pan, heat the olive oil over medium high hotness. Add it up with the onion and cook for a few minutes. Add up with the fennel and keep on cooking for ten minutes, until everything is gentle.
Place the fish in the broiler. Set it for 15 minutes.
on the stove, add the garlic. Mix and distribute it. Lessen the high hotness, and cook it alternately for 10 minutes, mixing every now and then. Add it up with the cleaved fronds, mix it gently, and take it off from the high temperature. Add a salt and pepper on it until you reach the desired taste… when the fish is carried out, take it off from the broiler and place the fennel stalks in your manure heap.
