Basic Congee

 

Ingredients:

1 mug of long grain rice

9 mugs water

Chicken or turkey bones

Salt

Directions:

In a substantial pot, wash rice in enough luke warm water to cover the rice. This will uproot a portion of the starch. Channel.

Include water and bones from a chicken or turkey. Warm on high until mixture reaches boiling point. Turn temperature down to low and spread with the top tilted to let a percentage of the steam escape.
