Cherry Bread Recipe

Cherry Bread

Ingredients

2 cups of sugar
1 cup of evaporated milk, fresh milk
3/4 cup of vegetable oil
2 fresh large eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cups of baking powder
1 tsp of kosher salt
1 package of cherries

Glaze:

4 cups powdered sugar
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup of cherry juice
1 tsp of vanilla

Instructions

Preheat oven.

Prepare eggs,sugar, milk and oil and stir together in a large bowl. Set Aside.

In a separate bowl, mix baking powder, all purpose flour and salt. Set aside.

Drain the cherries and reserved the juice for the glaze. Mix the chopped cherries in the bread.

Bake the bread according to instructions and toothpick should be inserted at the center and should come out clean. Let it cool for about 8-10 minutes

To make the glaze, mix theĀ  sugar, butter, cherry juice and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth.

Once the bread is cool, top it with the glaze until it freezes, serve it cool.
